David W. Miles
David Miles, President & CEO, has more than 25 years of experience as a financial adviser, entrepreneur and investor. On December 31, 2009, he acquired WB Capital Management from West Bancorporation and the firm was renamed Miles Capital. In 1991 David acquired Iowa-based Investors Management Group (IMG), a predecessor company to Miles Capital. As president of IMG he led the firm's growth in assets from $300 million to $1.8 billion by 1998 when IMG was acquired by AMCORE Financial. Following 5 years with AMCORE, David joined Principal Financial Group, where he led the successful acquisition of the $20.8 billion WM Group of Funds. Recently he served as CEO of Countryside Renewable Energy, a company focused on the consolidation of ethanol producers. David serves on the board of directors of Northwest Financial Corporation and the National Renewable Energy Investment Fund. He is president of the Iowa Board of Regents. He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, a Masters of Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, and his B.A. from Drake University.

Amy Mitchell
Amy Mitchell is Director, Administration for Miles Capital. She is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the company. Amy has been with the firm since 1990 and is a member of the Miles Capital management committee. She earned her BA in Business Administration from Graceland University. Amy is very involved with multiple community organizations.

Laurie Mardis
Laurie Mardis, CFA, is Director, Fixed Income and a member of the firm's Fixed Income Research Committee. Laurie earned her BSBA and Master of Business Administration from Drake University. She earned her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1998 and is a member and Past President of the CFA Society of Iowa. Laurie is a current member of the National Advisory Board for the College of Business at Drake University and works with Drake's Krause Challenge investment program. Prior to joining the firm in 2001, she was a portfolio manager with Wells Fargo, working with proprietary fixed income insurance and ERISA qualified accounts as well as balanced separate accounts.
