Laurie Mardis
Laurie Mardis, CFA, is Director, Fixed Income and a member of the firm's Fixed Income Research Committee. Laurie earned her BSBA and Master of Business Administration from Drake University. She earned her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1998 and is a member and Past President of the CFA Society of Iowa and a member of the CFA Institute. Laurie is a current member of the National Advisory Board for the College of Business at Drake University. Prior to joining the firm in 2001, she was a portfolio manager with Wells Fargo, working with proprietary fixed income insurance and ERISA qualified accounts as well as balanced separate accounts.

Doug Earney
Doug Earney, CFA, is Senior Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income and a member of the firm's Fixed Income Research Committee. Doug earned his BS from Iowa State University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2003 and is a member of the CFA Society of Iowa as well as the CFA Institute. Prior to joining the firm in 2009, Doug was a portfolio manager with Principal Global Investors, working with insurance, pension and other corporate accounts.

John Osier
John Osier, CFA, is Analyst, Fixed Income and a member of the firm's Fixed Income Research Committee.. He earned his BS degree in Finance and Transportation Logistics from Iowa State University and is currently pursuing his MBA at The University of Iowa. John is responsible for credit analysis and related activities in support of portfolio management. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2006 and is a member of the CFA Society of Iowa and a member of the CFA Institute. Prior to joining the firm, John was with Oppenheimer Funds.

David Albright
David Albright, CFA, is Senior Analyst, Fixed Income and a member of the firm's Fixed Income Research Committee. He is responsible for credit analysis and related activities in support of portfolio management. David earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree and his Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Wisconsin. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1991 and is a member of the CFA Society of Iowa as well as the CFA Institute. David has 24 years of credit underwriting experience, having most recently worked for Principal Financial Group (18 years), as well as Northwestern Mutual Life (6 years).
